Low-dose naltrexone

Low-dose naltrexone, or LDN, is a prescription option in Peak's focused program. LDN refers to naltrexone prescribed at doses below those used for its FDA-approved indications. This is an off-label use, and your provider determines whether it is appropriate.

Peak confirms the prescribed strength, form, availability, and timing. Common strengths include 1.5 mg, 3 mg, 4 mg, 5 mg, 6 mg, and 8 mg. Compounded drugs are not FDA approved.

Important: Naltrexone may interfere with opioid medications. If you take an opioid medication, discuss it with your provider before beginning naltrexone.
